I create art in a wide variety of media.  

Working from real life, photographs and imagination I find people's faces the most compelling subject.

Faces tell us so much about someone and give us a mirror into ourselves. 

I also like to depict the world around me with both realistic and abstract images.  

I am excited by color, pattern, texture and balance.

Inspired by Eastern and Western art, I see beauty in simplicity and surprise.
